Ragnarok Online II: Legend of the Second

Gravity has once again released Ragnarok Online II after the first version, Ragnarok Online II: The Gate of the World didn’t turn out too well. The graphics has been changed tremendously. It has also been mentioned that Ragnarok Online II: Legend of the Second will be running on an entirely different engine than the previous one. The engine being used now is the Gamebryo Engine, as opposed to the Unreal Engine 2.5 used in the previous version. This allows for greater graphical potential; the outdated Unreal Engine was really holding the game back.

Unlike Ragnarok Online II: The Gate of the World, the card system will be making a comeback in the new version of Ragnarok Online II: Legend of the Second.

If you haven’t checked, the closed beta was released January 25th 2011 on the Korean website of Gravity.

As you can see, the graphics of the game has gone through a huge overhaul.
