If racing game is your genre, then you should try out this Korean anime-based horse racing MMO. The game has been officially announced to be closed beta released in 2009, but I’ve just now stumbled upon this great game. The gameplay is quite smooth and is more unique than other driving games such as Drift City. The animation is pretty well-done, especially the female characters looking cute as always. Although this game has been out for a while, there is still no sign of it being released to the US anytime soon. But if you’re really into this type of game, you can still play on the Korean server and try the game out yourself, all you need to do is register on the website, link is down and a video of the gameplay if interested. One of the most popular game 2D side-scrolling game out there is called Maplestory. The game created in South Korea by Wizet but published by Nexon. Continue reading
Any time I see a particularly amazing cosplay gallery/cosplayer, I’ll be sure to share with you guys. This will be the first of many. Cosplayer is K, Miyuko, definitely one of my personal favorites. She can pull off almost any character. Inori is the main female protagonist in Guilty Crown, currently an ongoing anime. If you haven’t started watching yet, I highly recommend you do. Though it’s a bit of a cliche mecha/futuristic show, the characters will keep you watching. Continue reading
If you haven’t heard, there is a game called “Grief Syndrome” created by Twilight Frontier and was released on August 13, 2011 at Comiket 80. It is a side-scrolling game and it’s pretty addicting to be able to play as your favorite Madoka character.
Grief Syndrome is a 1-3 player game but it is also possible to play online if you were to mod the files. There are about 7 playable characters and they are: Continue reading
As many of you already know, League of Legends is a fairly new “MOBA” (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game, following in the footsteps of DotA. It’s currently spreading like wildfire, and rapidly increasing in popularity. Estimated numbers say: 32 million registered players, 4million+ players per day and 1million+ concurrent players. Those are some pretty ridiculous numbers, but remember, this game is free to play with no obligation and very easy to get into.
(here are a few from the many champions you can play as in game, in chibi form!)
Anyways, I’m not really here to give an in-depth analysis or anything, just a small invitation to anyone who already plays/wants to start playing and wants assistance or just someone to play with! I currently hover around the 1800~1950 elo range, which is good for about the top 400(?) players in the game, so I can definitely help you out if you need it. Make sure you comment below and send me a friend request ingame so I know it’s you!

Currently in the open beta stage in Korea, and alpha stage in the US, Lime Odyssey is well on its way to coming into the market. I’ve been playing around a little bit in the Korean open beta, and the one thing I can say for sure is that: yeah, it’s cute. It’s definitely going for that type of audience.
Gravity has once again released Ragnarok Online II after the first version, Ragnarok Online II: The Gate of the World didn’t turn out too well. The graphics has been changed tremendously. It has also been mentioned that Ragnarok Online II: Legend of the Second will be running on an entirely different engine than the previous one. The engine being used now is the Gamebryo Engine, as opposed to the Unreal Engine 2.5 used in the previous version. This allows for greater graphical potential; the outdated Unreal Engine was really holding the game back. Continue reading
